Hugo DELFOSSE

Hugo Delfosse is a French football coach who has been part of the Valenciennes FC Academy since 2019, where he has built a strong reputation for player development, individual performance optimisation and high-performance coaching. A few seasons ago, he also worked with Valenciennes FC’s first team in Ligue 2, contributing specifically to the preparation and analysis of set pieces.

Holding the UEFA A Licence, Hugo is currently completing the DES (Diplôme d'État Supérieur) during the 2026/27 season, reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development and his ambition to coach at the highest level.

Within Valenciennes FC, he plays a key role in the academy's long-term player pathway, focusing on individual player development, performance optimisation and the progression of young talents towards professional football. During the 2025/26 season, he also served as interim Head Coach of the club's reserve team, gaining valuable experience in senior football management.

Recognised for his modern coaching approach, attention to detail and ability to maximise individual potential, Hugo combines tactical understanding with expertise in physical and performance development. His work is centred on helping players reach their highest level while contributing to the overall performance environment of the club.

Now continuing his progression as one of France's promising young coaches, Hugo is committed to developing players, building competitive teams and delivering high-performance standards within ambitious football projects.
