Arthur, whom we are proud to represent at SAGAA, has begun a new stage in his professional development this season. He is currently preparing for the UEFA Pro Licence, the highest level of European coaching qualification.
After managing Rayo Vallecano C last season, Arthur is continuing his development with the club’s U19 team as assistant coach. A strategic choice that allows him to remain in Madrid at the highest national level of youth football while focusing on obtaining this prestigious qualification.
A qualification at the highest level
The UEFA Pro Licence represents the culmination of the coaching education pathway in Europe. It prepares coaches in particular to take on head coaching positions at the highest level of professional football.
This course goes far beyond purely tactical aspects. It covers all the areas that a professional coach must master today: managing a staff and a group of players, leadership, training methodology, game analysis, preparation and management of competition, as well as the development and implementation of a sporting project.
For Arthur, this new stage will complete an experience already built on a daily basis on the pitch and represents an important step in preparing for the next stage of his career.
A season SAGAA will follow from the inside

Over the coming months, we will publish several articles and content on our social media channels to follow the different stages of his training and share some of the lessons involved in preparing for the UEFA Pro Licence.
The aim will also be to show what this qualification actually involves: the demands of the course, the work required from coaches, and the way in which it shapes their thinking and daily practice.
This series will provide a progressive look behind the scenes of a professional coach’s education and follow Arthur’s development throughout the season. He will become one of the youngest French coaches to have obtained this qualification, at the age of 30.
